Rob’s School of Music in Suffern, NY, is much more than a music school. Our onsite tech team has been servicing Rockland and Bergen counties for over 15 years.

Looking for a full setup? A new set of pickups installed? How about the snare replaced on your snare drum? New strings on your violin? We’ve got you covered!

Need strings or drumsticks? We are also an authorized dealer for DR and D’addario guitar strings, Vic Firth and Promark drumsticks, and various other brands.

Our music library is fully stocked with all the lesson books our teachers assign, along with staff and tablature books.

We have a rotating stock of used guitars, basses and vintage guitar pedals. Rob’s School of Music is Suffern’s go-to music shop for everyone from students to professionals.

Awesome Events and Recitals

Our events are EPIC! All students are invited to perform in many local pop-up performances. We also do annual recitals unlike any music school around. We make these events fun and entertaining for the students and the entire family with professional lighting and sound, concessions, and recordings. Our Rock Band students perform at REAL venues every 6-8 weeks.

Customized Learning System

Nothing about Rob’s School of Music is cookie-cutter. Every student receives a completely customized curriculum, so they are taught how THEY learn. Once enrolled, every student receives a questionnaire so we can learn about their musical goals and “why” they want to learn how to play music.

As a music school, our first goal is to teach our students how to play music, but at Robs School Of Music, it goes much deeper than that. In a perfect world, 20 years from now, all of our students would still be rocking, but even if they’re not, they will still possess the self-discipline and confidence instilled in every lesson.
